Journal Policies
The International Journal of Healthcare and Education (IJHE) upholds the highest standards of academic publishing ethics, transparency, and scholarly integrity. The following policies guide all operations of the journal:
1. Open Access Policy
IJHE is committed to open access publishing. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or registration barriers. IJHE publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
2. Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors retain copyright of their published work. By submitting to IJHE, authors agree that their articles will be published under the CC BY 4.0 license, ensuring maximum visibility, reuse, and citation of their research.
3. Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to IJHE undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers' recommendations and the quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript. The review process is conducted confidentially and fairly to ensure academic integrity.
4. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
IJHE follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal strictly prohibits:

5. Authorship Policy
Authorship must be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. All contributors who meet authorship criteria should be listed as authors, and their specific contributions should be disclosed. Changes in authorship after submission require written approval from all listed authors.
6. Conflict of Interest Policy
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the research, review, or editorial decisions. IJHE is committed to maintaining transparency and managing potential biases.
7. Data Availability Policy
Authors are encouraged to share raw data, code, or supplementary materials that support their findings, in compliance with FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles. Data sharing statements should be included within the manuscript when applicable.
8. Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy
IJHE ensures the long-term preservation of its published content through participation in trusted digital archiving systems such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality Policy
IJHE respects the privacy of its authors, reviewers, and readers. Personal information is collected only for editorial purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent, as detailed in the journal's Privacy Statement.
10. Revenue Sources Policy
IJHE sustains its operations through a combination of article processing charges (APCs), institutional support from STIKep PPNI Jawa Barat, and voluntary editorial contributions. The journal does not accept advertising or sponsorships that could influence editorial decisions.
11. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy
IJHE reserves the right to withdraw or retract published articles if substantial errors, ethical breaches, or scientific misconduct are discovered after publication. Retractions are made transparently with a clear explanation, following COPE guidelines.
12. Special Issues and Supplements Policy
IJHE occasionally publishes special issues or thematic supplements focusing on emerging topics in healthcare and education. Special issues undergo the same rigorous peer review and editorial process as regular issues.
