Journal Archiving Policy

The Journal of Complementary Therapies in Midwifery and Nursing (JCTMN) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure that all articles remain available to readers, authors, and institutions, JCTMN implements the following archiving strategies:

  1. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS
JCTMN participates in both the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) archival systems. These community-driven initiatives ensure secure, decentralized, and permanent preservation of the journal’s content in multiple libraries worldwide.

  2. Institutional Repositories and Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit both preprint and postprint (accepted manuscript) versions of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and subject repositories, provided appropriate citation and a link to the final published version are included.

  3. Digital Preservation via PKP PN (if using OJS)
For journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), JCTMN may utilize the PKP Preservation Network (PN) to digitally preserve published content.

  4. Permanent Identifiers
All articles published in JCTMN are assigned DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) via Crossref, enabling permanent linkage and discoverability.

Through these measures, JCTMN ensures that its scholarly record is preserved for future generations, accessible even in the event of journal discontinuation or platform changes.
