Journal Archiving Policy

At the International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH), we are committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published content. Our archiving policy is designed to meet the standards of digital permanence and scholarly continuity, in accordance with best practices recommended by indexing and preservation bodies such as DOAJ, Scopus, and PubMed.

???? 1. Digital Preservation

IJAPH employs a multi-layered digital archiving strategy:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): We participate in the PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network), which uses the LOCKSS program to preserve our published content in distributed archives at multiple partner libraries.

  • Internet Archive & Indonesian National Repository: Published content is submitted to the Internet Archive and GARUDA/RAMA repository to ensure long-term accessibility.

  • Cloud-based Backup Systems: Our editorial system and PDF article files are routinely backed up on secure, encrypted servers maintained by PT Inovasi Multi Guna.

???? 2. Self-Archiving by Authors (Green OA Policy)

Authors are permitted to:

  • Deposit pre-print, post-print, and final published versions in institutional or subject repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, ResearchGate, university libraries)

  • Include the full citation and DOI link to the official version on the IJAPH website

  • Archive under the same CC BY 4.0 license

???? 3. Permanency of Content

All articles published in IJAPH are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) via Crossref, ensuring a persistent and citable record.

In the event the journal ceases publication, all published articles will remain publicly accessible through:

  • PKP PN Archive

  • Internet Archive

  • National Library Repository

???? 4. Version Control

  • IJAPH maintains a clear record of article versions, including any corrections, retractions, or replacements, in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

  • Updated metadata is submitted to indexing and archiving partners when version changes occur.

???? 5. Indexing and Metadata Archiving

All published articles are preserved with comprehensive metadata in:

  • Crossref

  • GARUDA

  • Google Scholar

  • BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine)

  • DOAJ (pending approval)

  • Indonesian national indexing systems (ISJD, SINTA – upon eligibility)
