The International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) was established in June 2025 as a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by PT Inovasi Multi Guna, Indonesia.

IJAPH was established to provide a dedicated academic platform for the dissemination of research, evidence-based practice, and scholarly discussion related to adolescent health, pediatric health, child and youth development, public health, nursing, clinical care, health promotion, and other interdisciplinary areas relevant to children and adolescents.

Founding and Development

Since its establishment, IJAPH has been developed as an online-only scholarly journal using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to support manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, publication, and online dissemination.

The journal began publication with:

• Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025) as its inaugural issue;
• subsequent issues published as part of its continuing scholarly publication activities; and
• a publication frequency of three issues per year (triannual).

IJAPH is published according to a regular schedule, with issues planned for February, June, and October.

Open Access Development

IJAPH was established as an open-access journal to support broad and immediate access to scholarly information in adolescent and pediatric health.

Published articles are made freely available through the journal website and are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright to their published work while granting IJAPH the right of first publication in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

Editorial and Peer-Review Development

IJAPH has developed an editorial structure consisting of an Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, Production Editor, Journal Manager, and peer reviewers who support the journal's editorial and scholarly publishing processes.

Manuscripts submitted to IJAPH undergo editorial assessment and peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Policy, Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, Research Ethics Policy, and other editorial policies.

The journal continuously improves its editorial procedures, metadata quality, publication ethics, transparency, and scholarly publishing practices.

Digital Publishing and Preservation

IJAPH publishes all content electronically through its official OJS platform.

Published articles, journal issues, and associated metadata are maintained within the journal's digital publishing system and are supported by regular backup procedures managed by PT Inovasi Multi Guna.

Information regarding external indexing, abstracting, DOI registration, or digital preservation services will be displayed separately on the journal website only after such services have been officially implemented and verified.
