The International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) is a fully open access journal, meaning all published articles are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or registration barriers.

 1. Accessibility

IJAPH is committed to removing barriers to scientific knowledge. All content is accessible to readers worldwide without restriction, ensuring broad dissemination of research relevant to adolescent and pediatric health.

Readers are free to:

  • Read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles

  • Use the articles for lawful purposes without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author

 2. Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license allows users to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially

3. Author Rights

Authors retain full copyright of their work and grant IJAPH:

  • The non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and promote the work

  • Permission to apply the CC BY 4.0 license

Authors are free to:

  • Share their articles on personal websites, institutional repositories, or academic networks

  • Reuse the content for teaching or derivative works (e.g., book chapters, presentations)

4. Institutional and Funder Compliance

IJAPH's Open Access policy is fully compliant with the requirements of major funding agencies and institutions, including:

  • Plan S (cOAlition S)

  • NIH, Wellcome Trust, Gates Foundation

  • Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbudristek)

Authors are encouraged to deposit their accepted manuscripts or published articles in institutional or national repositories.

5. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To support open access publishing, IJAPH may apply an Article Processing Charge (APC), details of which are disclosed transparently in the APC section. Waivers and discounts are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

 6. Archiving and Preservation

IJAPH ensures long-term preservation of published content through:

  • Institutional repositories

  • LOCKSS/CLOCKSS or equivalent digital archiving systems

  • Internal backup and redundancy mechanisms
