The International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and academic rigor in all aspects of its publication process. The journal adheres to international standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

1. Open Access Policy
IJAPH is a fully open access journal. All content is freely available without subscription. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

2. Peer Review Policy
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The peer review process ensures fairness, quality, and relevance.

3. Author Responsibilities
Authors must submit original, unpublished work, follow ethical research practices, and disclose all conflicts of interest. Proper informed consent and ethical approval are required for studies involving human subjects.

4. Publication Ethics & Malpractice
IJAPH follows COPE guidelines to handle misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, authorship disputes, and unethical research. Retractions, corrections, and expressions of concern will be issued when necessary.

5. Plagiarism and AI Policy
Manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Submissions generated or heavily assisted by AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) must be transparently disclosed.

6. Research Ethics
All research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards, including IRB approval and informed consent. The journal will reject manuscripts that fail to meet ethical criteria.

12. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Authors may be asked to pay an APC to support the journal’s open access model. Fee waivers are available for LMIC authors.
