Principles of Transparency

The International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) is fully committed to upholding the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing as jointly developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA).

We ensure that all aspects of our editorial and publishing processes meet these international standards:


1. Journal Name

  • The title International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) is unique and clearly reflects the scope of the journal.

  • It is not intended to be misleading or associated with any other journal.


2. Website

  • Our official journal website is: https://www.img.co.id

  • It contains complete and transparent information about editorial policies, submission procedures, ethical standards, and journal scope.

  • The website is regularly maintained for security, functionality, and accessibility.


3. Peer Review Process

  • IJAPH follows a double-blind peer review process.

  • All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts.

  • Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and ethical integrity.

  • Detailed peer review policy is available under the "Peer Review" section.


4. Editorial Board

  • The editorial team is composed of qualified experts in adolescent and pediatric health and related disciplines.

  • Full names, institutional affiliations, and roles are publicly available on the editorial board page.

  • The editorial team adheres to COPE guidelines.


5. Author Fees

  • IJAPH currently IDR 100.000 an Article Processing Charge (APC). All charges, if applicable, are transparently listed on the APC Policy page.

  • There are no hidden fees (e.g., for submission or color figures).


6. Copyright and Licensing

  • All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

  • Authors retain copyright.

  • Details are clearly stated in the Copyright Notice.


7. Handling of Misconduct

  • IJAPH follows the COPE Code of Conduct for handling publication misconduct.

  • All cases of plagiarism, data falsification, unethical research, or authorship disputes are investigated.

  • Retraction, correction, or expression of concern is issued where appropriate.


8. Ownership and Management

  • IJAPH is owned and published by PT Inovasi Multi Guna, a registered Indonesian health and education publishing company.

  • Full publisher contact information is publicly available.


9. Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.

  • Conflict of interest disclosures are required at submission and reviewed by the editorial office.


10. Access and Archiving

  • IJAPH is an open-access journal, and all articles are available free of charge immediately upon publication.

  • Articles are archived in:

    • PKP Preservation Network (LOCKSS)

    • Internet Archive

    • Indonesian repositories such as GARUDA and RAMA

  • Archiving and digital preservation policies are outlined in our Archiving Policy.


11. Revenue Sources

  • Revenue to support the journal is derived from:

    • Article processing charges (if applicable)

    • Institutional sponsorship

    • Limited, ethical advertising (per Advertising Policy)

  • Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertising or commercial revenue.


12. Advertising

  • IJAPH only accepts ethically aligned and health-related advertisements.

  • All advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content.

  • Advertising policies are transparently published on the journal website.


13. Publishing Schedule

  • IJAPH is published biannually, in June and December, beginning in June 2025.

  • All issues and articles are published online and assigned DOIs.


14. Name and Policy for Direct Marketing

  • IJAPH does not engage in aggressive marketing or spam solicitations.

  • Any call for papers or announcements is sent only to relevant academic audiences and professional networks.
