International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health

License Term

Scholarly articles published in the International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health (IJAPH) are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise indicated for specific third-party material.

License:

1. Permissions Under CC BY 4.0

Under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, users are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions apply provided that the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license are followed.

2. Attribution Requirements

Users must:

  • give appropriate credit to the original author(s);
  • identify the original source of publication;
  • provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 license where reasonably practicable; and
  • indicate whether changes were made.

Attribution must not imply that the original author(s), IJAPH, or PT Inovasi Multi Guna endorses the user, the reuse, or any adapted version of the work.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain copyright to their published work.

Upon publication, authors grant IJAPH a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, distribute, display, preserve, and make the article publicly available under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Authors may subsequently reuse, share, or deposit their published work in accordance with the terms of the license and the journal's copyright and self-archiving policies.

4. Recommended Citation

Users should provide complete bibliographic information when citing IJAPH articles.

A citation should normally include:

  • author(s);
  • year of publication;
  • article title;
  • journal title;
  • volume and issue;
  • page range or article number, where applicable; and
  • DOI, where available, or the official article URL.

Example format:

Author(s). (Year). Title of article. International Journal of Adolescent and Pediatric Health, Volume(Issue), page range or article number. DOI, where available, or article URL.

Users should not use placeholder or fabricated DOI numbers.

5. Commercial Reuse

The CC BY 4.0 license permits reuse for commercial as well as non-commercial purposes, provided that the license conditions, particularly attribution requirements, are satisfied.

Examples may include lawful reuse in:

  • books;
  • educational materials;
  • digital learning platforms;
  • databases;
  • media;
  • derivative scholarly works; and
  • other publications.

Appropriate credit must be provided and any modifications must be indicated.

6. Third-Party Material

The CC BY 4.0 license applies to material for which the authors or journal have the necessary rights.

Certain photographs, figures, tables, datasets, trademarks, logos, or other third-party materials may be subject to separate copyright or licensing conditions where explicitly indicated.

Users are responsible for determining whether additional permission is required for reuse of material that is not covered by the article's CC BY 4.0 license.

7. Journal Name, Logo, and Trademarks

The CC BY 4.0 license applying to published scholarly articles does not automatically grant permission to use IJAPH's:

  • journal logo;
  • publisher logo;
  • trademarks;
  • branding elements; or
  • other protected visual identity

in a manner that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or official affiliation.

Permission for such uses may need to be obtained separately from the journal or publisher.

8. Integrity and Attribution

Reuse of published material must not misrepresent:

  • the identity of the original authors;
  • the original source of publication;
  • whether changes have been made; or
  • the relationship between the reused material and IJAPH.

Plagiarism, false attribution, or misleading representation of authorship remains inconsistent with scholarly and publication ethics regardless of the permissions granted under the CC BY 4.0 license.

9. Relationship With Other IJAPH Policies

These License Terms should be read together with the journal's:

  • Copyright Notice
  • Open Access Policy
  • Author Self-Archiving provisions
  • Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Where third-party materials carry different licensing conditions, those specific conditions take precedence for the relevant material.
