Advertising Policy

The Journal of Community Health and Nursing (JCHN) accepts advertising to support its mission of disseminating high-quality scientific and clinical knowledge. However, all advertising must comply with ethical, academic, and professional standards to ensure that it does not influence editorial decision-making or compromise the integrity of published content.

1. Independence and Editorial Integrity

  • All decisions regarding editorial content—including peer review, acceptance, and rejection—are made independently of any advertising or sponsorship arrangements.

  • Advertising content will not influence editorial decisions or the positioning of articles.

2. Acceptable Advertising

We accept advertisements that are:

  • Relevant to the fields of nursing, community health, public health, medical technology, education, or related services.

  • Professional and factual, avoiding exaggerated claims or misleading information.

  • Compliant with local and international advertising regulations and ethical standards.

Prohibited advertisements include:

  • Products or services that promote tobacco, alcohol, or recreational drugs.

  • Unverified health claims or pseudoscientific content.

  • Political, religious, or discriminatory content.

  • Content that conflicts with the values of scientific rigor, inclusivity, or public health.

3. Placement and Identification

  • Advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content.

  • Ads may appear in the journal’s homepage, issue landing pages, or sidebar/banner areas, but not within the body of peer-reviewed articles.

  • Sponsored content or advertorials must be explicitly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement."

4. Review and Approval

All advertisements are subject to prior review and approval by the Editorial Board and Publisher (PT Inovasi Multi Guna). The journal reserves the right to:

  • Refuse any advertisement deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with the journal's mission.

  • Withdraw any advertisement post-publication if found to violate this policy.

5. Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Any advertisements by organizations with potential conflicts of interest (e.g., pharmaceutical or medical device companies) must disclose such affiliations. Authors, reviewers, and editors must also remain free from influence in relation to these entities.

6. Advertising Revenue and Transparency

  • Advertising revenue is used exclusively to support journal operations, editorial activities, and open-access publication costs.

  • Acceptance of advertising does not imply endorsement of the product or service by the Journal, Editors, or Publisher.

7. Changes to Policy

This policy may be revised at the discretion of the editorial team or publisher to reflect changes in ethical standards, technological advancements, or journal practices. Updates will be published on the journal website.
