The Journal of Community Health and Nursing (JCHN) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal committed to advancing knowledge and innovation in community health, public health nursing, health promotion, and primary care—particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

Launched in 2025, JCHN serves as a platform for nurses, public health professionals, educators, researchers, and policymakers to share high-quality, evidence-based work that addresses health disparities, promotes community well-being, and supports sustainable healthcare solutions.

All articles are published in English and undergo double-blind peer review to ensure academic integrity and scientific rigor.

Open Access and No APCs

JCHN is an open access journal — all articles are freely available to readers without subscription or login. To support equitable access to publishing, we do not charge any article processing fees (APCs) for our inaugural volume (2025–2026).

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing free use with proper attribution.
